How do I become MRP certified?

Follow these steps:

  1.  Be a member in good standing with the National Association of REALTORS®
  2. Complete the MRP certification course (online or in the classroom/live virtual)
  3. Once NAR sends you acknowledgment of your course credit, submit your one-time application fee of $195 to complete your certification.

Note: You may not promote yourself as MRP certified until you are notified via email that you have been awarded the certification.

Will I have to pay a fee every year to maintain my MRP certification?

No.

After the initial application fee is paid, there are no annual certification dues, although you must maintain membership with NAR to use MRP.

What are the benefits of the MRP certification?

Start by registering for the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification course.

For the online course, visit learning.realtor, the Center for REALTOR® Development’s hub for online learning.

For classroom or live virtual courses, visit crd.realtor/coursesearch.

 

Does the MRP certification course count toward the ABR® designation?

Yes!

The Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification course is an approved elective for the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®) designation.

Does the MRP certification course count toward the SRS designation?

Yes!

The Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification course is an approved elective for the Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) designation.

How long is the certification course?

  • The classroom/live virtual course is one day.
  • The online course will take approximately 6 hours.

 

Is there a deadline to complete the course or apply for certification?

Learner has one year from the date of purchase to complete the online course.

 

I'm an international student. Can I still take this course?

International students can purchase this course at the member price by becoming an International REALTOR® Member. Click here for more details.

 

Is CE credit available for the online course?

No. Continuing Education (CE) credit is not available for the online course.
